CO2Rail was founded in 2021 with the goal of revolutionizing transportation by becoming the world's first carbon-negative mode of heavy transport. Their expertise lies in rail technology and sustainability, specifically in the areas of Direct Air Capture (DAC) and Locomotive Emissions Mitigation (CCS).

The company's proprietary technology utilizes specially designed railcars equipped with CO2 direct air capture systems, compression equipment, and battery arrays.
