Cummins Aligns Investments to Sustainability Goals
Cummins Inc. aims to reach its sustainability goals with a record of actions. Creating an effective decarbonization plan for a net-zero transition is not easy.
When the United States announced targets to halve greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030 and reach net-zero emissions by 2050, some 400 large US-based companies also committed to net-zero targets of their own, many of which have set ambitious emissions reductions targets for 2030 or sooner.
Cummins's goals cover three major priorities:
1. Addressing climate change and air emissions
2. Using natural resources sustainably
3. Partnering so that our communities are better because we are there
