Allied Green Ammonia, a global industry leader in clean energy infrastructure, is rapidly advancing the development of its flagship green ammonia plant proposed for construction in Northern Territory, Australia.
ABB, a global technology leader in electrification and automation, is providing support with products and solution expertise that are key to Allied Green Ammonia’s engineering and design, enabling the project developers to make the Final Investment Decision (FID). FID is targeted to be complete on an accelerated basis for the green hydrogen-to-ammonia plant, with a capacity of 958,500 tons annually.

The collaboration will focus on developing a scalable electrical micro-grid solution, providing DC and AC switchgear and digital solutions, connecting a 4.75GW capacity solar farm and powering the 3GW hydrogen electrolyzer facility and the downstream green-ammonia plant.
