(AKRON, Ohio – December 8, 2025) – Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: BW) announced today that it has received limited notice to proceed with engineering and long-lead procurement on a SolveBright™ post-combustion, regenerable solvent-based carbon dioxide (CO2) capture system for an existing power plant in the United States. The full notice to proceed is anticipated to be signed by March 2026, with an estimated value of $80 million and the potential for additional scope and construction services.

B&W’s SolveBright system design will allow the use of both an advanced specialty solvent and widely available commodity solvents, providing significant operational flexibility and potential cost savings for the plant owner. The SolveBright solution will be capable of capturing and storing more than 550,000 tons of CO2 annually.
