Today, DG Fuels LLC announced its appointment of Samsung E&A as a major contractor for its inaugural synthetic jet fuel project in St. James Parish, Louisiana, with responsibilities for the blue hydrogen, green hydrogen, and power generation portions of the approximately $8 billion synthetic jet fuel project. The parties have signed a term sheet, and Samsung E&A is expected to begin the FEED for its dedicated portion of the project before the end of 2025. In its role, Samsung E&A will collaborate with Black & Veatch, which is the contractor for the balance of the project and is the overall integrator of the system’s component technologies. DG Fuels is developing a synthetic fuel system with near zero CO₂ life cycle emissions, based on its patented high carbon conversion technology targeting 97% efficiency. The DGF system directly addresses the challenge of scaling SAF production to meet the aviation industry’s environmental requirements. Unlike alternative solutions, it does not require new engines or distribution infrastructure. The system produces drop-in replacement jet fuels.
DG Fuels offers significant value to customers, combining meaningful environmental benefits with a practical path to achieving sustainability goals. Learn more at www.dgfuels.com.
