JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for management and results of the Hydrogen projects, which is accountable for marketing, development, due diligence, planning, execution, monitoring and control of all Hydrogen applications. This includes partnerships, ventures, joint technology development, in kind service facility from internal Nabors segments. Also responsible for the organization and control of all NET-S Hydrogen projects. Overall responsibility to ensure NET-S projects meet stated timelines and budgets while adhering to company business objectives and contract requirements. Responsible for organization wide implementation of consistent Project Management processes and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works under the direction of the President, Energy Transition
  • Oversees the budget within responsibilities
  • Develop strategy, Integrate, Plan, Execute, Monitor and Control all NET-S projects (onshore & offshore)
  • Oversees all phases of Project Initiation and Scope Management
  • Works closely with Geo-Market heads, Area Managers and Engineering leadership to ensure NET-S and Global Operations business objectives are being met
  • Oversees project performance to ensure budget and schedule commitments are met (construction, purchasing, logistics, HR, crew hire and training, spare parts, mobilization, start up, operations-specific procedures, etc.)
  • Participates in project budget/Capex/AFE creations
  • Ensure all Project teams use consistent reporting tools, Project Management principles, processes and procedures
  • Works directly with all Company departments to ensure proper Project coordination and outcomes
  • Evaluates and executes purchasing decisions and assists Purchasing Department with Quotes, MR’s, PR’s, PO’s, GR’s and invoicing
  • Coordinates regularly with vendors and third parties for new technology introduction, on time deliveries and services
  • Works directly with customer and partner Project teams to ensure alignment of project objectives
  • Works directly with Sales and Marketing on client proposal and potential capital projects
  • Ensure continuous improvement with lessons learned, best practices and detailed RCA process
  • Communicates with global Project Stakeholders to gather project information, execute project objectives
  • Implement project controls including management of change, communication plans, kickoff planning, vendor management, and internal organization/communication changes to control the projects and scope
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to Company Executive Management regarding the status and health of all projects
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to achieve project objectives and targets
  • Develop members of the Project Team to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of work, motivation to succeed, progression to increasing responsibility and succession of high potential personnel
  • Define and communicate the roles of Project Members
  • Develop market knowledge, pricing structure and business case for hydrogen

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • 10 years’ experience as Area Manager or Regional Director
  • Knowledgeable in overseeing, tracking, and scheduling many, multi-dimensional, high value projects simultaneously
  • Knowledgeable in Project Management best practices
  • Knowledgeable in International logistics, purchasing, warehousing, transporting, exporting, and importing
  • Knowledgeable in oilfield related equipment, parts, materials, and suppliers
  • Knowledgeable in accounting procedures, policies, practices, and systems
  • Knowledgeable in the workings and objectives all Company Departments
  • College Degree - Engineering
  • Able to develop, implement, coordinate, monitor and support activities associated with achieving project objectives
  • Excellent administrative and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively deal with problems under pressure
  • Ability to maintain good stakeholder and subordinate relationships and possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Capable of utilizing effective time management skills and meeting project deadlines
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the capacity to handle a wide range of situations and personalities
  • Demonstrate health, safety, and environment leadership
  • Promote environmentally friendly solutions, sustainable operations and compliance with corporate governance standards

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Degree in Engineering or Master’s in Business Administration

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel as required including international travel.
