The world’s largest supplier of delivered durable carbon removal deepens its commercial collaboration with Carbonfuture as buyers prioritize execution, traceability and reliable delivery
SANTA CRUZ DE LA SIERRA, BOLIVIA, AND FREIBURG, GERMANY — September 2026 — Exomad Green, the world’s largest Biochar Carbon Removal Supplier, and Carbonfuture, a leading provider of digital trust infrastructure for durable carbon removal, today announced the expansion of their partnership.
The agreement secures more than 1,100,000 tonnes of biochar carbon removal supply, including a pre-existing allocation for 2026, to be made available to corporate buyers via Carbonfuture through 2035, and reaffirms the more than 1,200,000 tonnes already contracted for delivery under existing multi-year agreements.

The expansion comes at a defining moment for the carbon removal market. In 2026, leadership is increasingly measured by execution: the ability to operate facilities reliably, secure sustainable feedstock, maintain consistent product quality, provide auditable traceability, complete independent verification and deliver contracted tonnes on schedule.
This partnership brings together Exomad Green’s proven industrial operating platform and Carbonfuture’s digital monitoring, reporting and verification infrastructure and commercial reach. It gives buyers access to high-quality, durable carbon removal backed by operating assets, an established delivery record and transparent data across the carbon removal lifecycle.
The companies began working together in mid-2023, when Carbonfuture facilitated two Exomad Green transactions of 30,000 and 32,000 tonnes—among the largest biochar carbon removal agreements announced at the time. Since then, Exomad Green has delivered more than 400,000 tonnes of durable carbon removal, becoming the global market leader by cumulative delivered volume, based on CDR.fyi data as of August 2026.
Over the same period, Exomad Green has expanded its industrial footprint across Bolivia and continued building toward one megatonne of annual carbon removal capacity. The company operates facilities in Concepción and Riberalta and is developing its next large-scale facility in Guarayos, with further expansion planned.
