VALENCIA, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE) — H2scan Corporation today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has appointed David Ellis, a notable energy and technology executive with more than 30 years of global leadership experience, as the Chairman of the Board.

As customers confront increasing demand and reliability pressures, H2scan’s superior technologies identify failure conditions earlier than legacy monitoring systems.

Ellis has held senior roles in utility, clean energy, and private equity enterprises, including as an executive at Enerwise Global Technologies, Chairman and Managing Director of Comverge International, and Chairman, President & CEO of Entergy New Orleans. His background includes international market expansion, digital transformation, and grid modernization, with experience across the U.S., Africa, and Asia.

In addition to his operational leadership, Ellis advises private equity funds and portfolio companies on growth, governance, and energy transition strategy. His expertise aligns with H2scan’s mission to advance hydrogen monitoring in transformer asset management, industrial process and safety applications, and battery safety systems for the utility and commercial & industrial segments.
