Capture6, a carbon removal supplier deploying Direct Air Capture (DAC) around the world, has partnered with Isometric to issue trusted, high-quality DAC credits. The partnership includes Project Wallaby, Capture6’s pilot DAC facility in Western Australia, which will be integrated into Pilot Energy’s proposed Mid West Clean Energy Project (MWCEP).
Under the agreement, Isometric will issue carbon removal credits in accordance with the Isometric Standard and the Direct Air Capture Protocol—the most scientifically rigorous on the market. All measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) data will be tracked and managed through Isometric Certify.

Dr. Ethan Cohen-Cole, CEO of Capture6, said:
“Partnering with Isometric is a key step toward bringing Capture6’s Direct Air Capture credits to market. By applying Isometric’s DAC Protocol to our Project Wallaby facility, we can ensure that every tonne of carbon dioxide we remove meets the highest standards of transparency and scientific rigor. We look forward to working together to deliver durable carbon removal alongside water-positive benefits for local communities.”
Capture6’s technology uses saltwater—such as brine wastewater—and renewable energy to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, while simultaneously producing freshwater for drinking, agriculture, or industry. Their approach repurposes industrial processes for both carbon removal and water recovery, and is designed for integration with existing infrastructure—such as desalination plants and water treatment facilities. This includes Pilot Energy’s proposed MWCEP, which will house Project Wallaby.
Brad Lingo, Managing Director of Pilot Energy, said:
“Project Wallaby is a powerful example of how strategic partnerships can accelerate meaningful climate solutions. Through collaboration with Capture6, Pilot is integrating innovative direct air capture and water processing technology into the Mid West Clean Energy Project. The inclusion of Isometric as a registry partner will ensure that the carbon credits generated are independently verified, transparent, and trusted, adding to the environmental integrity and commercial value of our combined effort to decarbonise.”
We’re looking forward to working with Capture6 as part of our mission to scale carbon removal—responsibly and fast.
